1. How is the decking applied?

We use an acrylic-based 3MTM pressure sensitive adhesive for a robust bond and easy peel-and-stick application.

2. Are your decking products pet friendly?

The product is made from a closed cell marine grade foam that is moisture resistant and doesn’t absorb liquid. However, our decking can be torn or ripped by pets if they continually scratch and dig it with their nails.

3. Can decking be applied over existing non-skid?

Yes. Our decking adheres very well to most molded-in non-skids and properly applied and maintained aggregate type non-skid paints, as long as the surface is cleaned properly prior to installation.

4. Where can I use your decking products?

Our decking is suitable for use in marine, caravans, RVs, camping, jet skis, and general purpose home and DIY applications. It can be used both indoors and outdoors.

5. Will the sun (UV exposure) affect the decking?

Our decking is UV resistant and suitable for use in the harsh Florida elements. Care should always be taken to ensure your decking is correctly installed and maintained to maximize its product life.

6. Will it stain?

Our decking is relatively stain resistant however a few substances, such as fuel stabilizers, bird droppings, rust, and mustard can be problematic if not attended to in a timely manner. While some things such as fish blood or red wine may cause a temporary stain, quick attention using the cleaning care and maintenance guidelines will help avoid permanent stains.

7. What is the life expectancy of your decking?

In the harshest conditions, your decking can be expected to last 5-7 years. If the boat is covered and/or well taken care of, a longer life is more likely.

8. Is your decking hot to stand on?

As with any flooring products, darker colors will naturally become warmer in the sun. With that being said, our decking will not become too hot to stand on, and dispels heat very quickly thanks to its closed-cell structure.
